Sorry it took me ages to get back to you! This weekend (as usual) was pretty jampacked.
I posted that because I thought it would get people thinking about more about their own views, and clearly it worked. I don't agree with it 100%. I feel people should eat whatever the hell they want and while I choose to lead a vegan life style, I do know that it's not for everyone and it's none of my business. I love animals and while that doesn't mean I can't/shouldn't eat meat, it's just the conclusion I've come to on it and the best way that I can display it.
I don't know much about factory farming in the UK but here it is an absolute abomination and I don't want any part of it. I'm sure I would feel differently if animals were raised in a healthy and loving environment but unfortunately, that's not the case so this is my stand against it. I have zero qualms with those who choose to indulge in eating meat, it's just not for me. So, I do apologize if that's the way it came off. Eat what you like, and I'll eat what I like, ya know? Everyone should just leave everyone else to do as they please.
Anywho, I have never heard of "fruitiarians" before, but what an interesting thing. I'll have to read up on it!
And thank you for the kind words, I do appreciate it. :)

Hey, no worries; I know what you mean about weekends being packed!
Yeah, I totally agree with people eating what they like - I’m sorry if my question/message sounded “preachy”, I was just trying to give a more level-headed view from a meat-eater as some of those anon. posts you had, seemed really aggressive (maybe from eating too much meat?!) But that’s the thing I hate about emails/text, they don’t capture the true tone of the message, so I’m sorry too. As soon as I sent it I wished I’d kept it simple, but apparently, I like to make things more complicated *head desk*
Anyway, thanks for the reply - it put a smile on my face :)
